David Campbell is an ACIL Tasman Executive Director and heads its Technical Development practice area. His expertise has a focus on ensuring economic and policy analysis has appropriate theoretical and principle underpinning while delivering practical and improved policy solutions - especially in the context of improved strategy and decisionmaking under uncertainty, or where significant costs, benefits or risks are intangible or hard to quantify. His work spans a wide range of sectors, but has included substantial work in the areas of water, energy, defence acquisition and support, R&D, public health and environment.
