Paul Hyslop is Chief Executive of ACIL Tasman. Paul has more than twenty years experience in the energy sector with particular involvement in electricity and gas. He has worked in a broad range of areas including business management, business development, mergers and acquisitions, business regulation, energy market development and regulation and power system operation.
Paul has held senior executive roles at the Queensland electricity generator, CS Energy, the US based independent power producer, Edison Mission Energy, and at Snowy Hydro. Prior to that he was employed at Hydro Tasmania where he was responsible for the operation of the Tasmanian power system.
