- Review of NT Indigenous Economic Development Strategy
ACIL Tasman has been selected to review and revise the Northern Territory's
Indigenous Economic Development Strategy. The project will assess,
evaluate and review the effectiveness of the Strategy and develop
a revised strategy document. The strategy will be developed in close
consultation with Indigenous organisations, business and government.

- Northern Territory Infrastructure Plan
ACIL Tasman and Evans & Peck have been appointed by the Northern
Territory Government to develop a 10 year infrastructure plan for
the Territory. The plan will examine the changing needs of the Territory,
harness economic opportunities such as increased export trade and
mining activity, and ensure Government infrastructure spending is
focused on priority areas. It will be developed in close consultation
with government agencies and the private sector. For a copy of the

- ACIL Tasman prepared a series of papers and briefing notes
for WA's Economic Regulation Authority, in support of ERA's current
inquiry into Competition in the Water and Wastewater Services Sector
The papers covered a range of topics, including
* Frameworks for water source procurement (including material on
the scarcity value of water material and examples of real options
planning)
* Assessment of economies of size & scope in water and wastewater
service provision and the implications for an appropriate industry
structure in WA
* A Framework for centralised water source procurement (advising on
how this might be done incorporating a options basis)
* Real options planning framework (including the anlaysis of an illustrative
portfolio of water supply and demand management schemes)
