New consultants in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth
ACIL Tasman has appointed six new consultants in Brisbane, Melbourne
and Perth offices.
In Brisbane, Martin Pavelka has joined as a Research Analyst specializing
in energy and commodities. Martin was previously with Queensland Treasury,
where he was involved in monitoring and forecasting of local and international
economic conditions with respect to commodity markets, development
of econometric models and CGE modelling.
Ken Willett, Senior Consultant in Brisbane, has had a varied career
in government and the private sector, including significant experience
in consulting. Ken's experience in microeconomics is wide ranging,
including natural resource economics (minerals, energy, water and
environment), analysis of microeconomic reform issues, transport policy,
taxation and public policy, project financing and feasibility studies,
asset valuation and risk assessment and management.
David Sinclair has joined the Brisbane office as a Senior Consultant
specialising in energy. David has a PhD from the University of Bradford
where his specialist area of research was performance measurement
system design. For the past seven years he has worked with Sun Retail
(formerly Energex Retail) in Queensland as Strategic Planning Manager.
Joe Owen is a Senior Consultant in Brisbane office. He brings a decade
of experience working in the Australian and United States Governments
as an economist and senior economic policy advisor. Most recently
Joe was the senior economic advisor to the United States Ambassador
in Canberra. Prior to that, he worked at the Treasury and the Productivity
Commission. Joe has advised on Australian economic policy, including
microeconomic policy and regulation, macroeconomic conditions and
policy, and trade matters.
Yuan Chou is a Senior Consultant at ACIL Tasman’s Melbourne office.
He holds a PhD in Economics from Yale University. Yuan has several
years of consulting experience at Access Economics in Canberra and
the Centre for International Economics in Sydney, where he has undertaken
public policy and strategic analysis, program evaluations, general
equilibrium and econometric modeling, as well as economic, social
and environmental impact analysis.
Fiona Coble-Neal is a new Senior Associate in Perth office. Fiona
is a geographer and educator with skills in geo-spatial analysis and
mapping. She works in a range of fields, including impact assessment,
feasibility assessments, social policy analysis, regional development
and infrastructure assessment. Fiona also undertakes geo-spatial analysis
and mapping for diverse assignments across ACIL Tasman.
