Alistair Davey is a senior consultant with ACIL Tasman’s Canberra office and his areas of specialisation are trade practices, competition policy, regulatory and microeconomic analysis.

Prior to joining ACIL Tasman, Alistair spent 15 years working for the Commonwealth Government, serving as the microeconomic advisor to the Treasurer from 1996 to 1999 as well as holding senior positions with the ACCC, the Department of Finance and Administration and ABARE. He holds a Masters degree in economics from the University of Melbourne and has recently successfully completed a professional doctorate at the Australian National University where he examined the competitive effects of horizontal agreements in the downstream petroleum industry.
