Grant is an economic and policy
analyst in ACIL Tasman’s Perth office.
He has 10 years experience working
in both the academic and government
sectors. His capability covers applied
economics with emphasis on microeconomics,
micro-econometrics, time series
analysis and discrete choice modelling.
Prior to joining ACIL Tasman, Grant
spent 10 stimulating years in various
positions spanning academia and
government including Grant was a
Principal Policy Officer with the
Government of Western Australia
for three years from 2004. He has
specialist expertise in telecommunications
economics gained during a five year
appointment as Research Associate
at Curtin University of Technology.
As a result, Grant has published
extensively in leading economic
journals, including leading forecast
journals. He also has experience
working for the Commonwealth Government,
having worked for two years in the
Department of the Treasury and in
consultancy while a researcher at
Curtin University.
Grant has a Bachelor of Commerce
(Honours) majoring in economics
and finance and a PhD in economics
from Curtin University of Technology.
